Our aluminium top track screws directly to your window frame to create a fixed upper channel for your fly screen. Once both tracks are in place, the screen slots in and stays put — no clips, no additional hardware required.
Each track comes with 3 screws included. You'll need a drill and screwdriver or impact driver to install.
How to measure: If you're ordering a top track alongside a new fly screen, simply order the track at the same width as the screen — this guarantees the track and screen will line up perfectly. If you're buying the track separately, measure the clear width of the window opening at the top (side to side) and subtract 2mm for clearance. Tracks are cut to your entered measurement. Buying all new fly screens and tracks? Head to our DIY info page and follow how to measure track fit to take the necessary measurements off (3mm), the height and width.
Installation overview: Drill 3 pilot holes in the track — one at each end (roughly 150–200mm from the edge as a guide) and one in the middle. Hold the track in position at the top of the window opening, mark through the holes onto the frame, then drill 3 corresponding holes into the window frame. Starting from the middle, screw the track firmly into place. Once the top and bottom tracks are both secured, slot your fly screen in from the front.
