Fly Screens In a Box custom cut your fly frame to your measurements in your choice of colour. You can choose from either standard fibreglass mesh, midge mesh, pet mesh and bushfire mesh (316 stainless steel).

What Comes In the Box?

Fly Screens In a Box will deliver to you the components and tools needed for you to easily DIY your own fly screen window.

Aluminium fly frame (choose 11mm or 9mm) cut to your measurements (choose from 23 colours)
Fly Screen mesh (choose from 4 mesh types)
PVC spline, cut to size
Spline roller
Corner stakes
Swivel clips, fixing tabs and plunger pins (optional)
Mid-rail (optional for larger screens above 1200mm)

(Note: you will need your own flat head screwdriver, Stanley knife and maybe a mallet for light assembly of your insect screen)

Window Frame Size * (which frame size to choose?) There are two options; 11mm (the Australian standard) and 9mm used on windows supplied by Bradnams and A&L windows. Please measure the width of the window frame channel before choosing frame size.
Mid-rail * (what is a mid-rail?)
Mid-rail Location Only choose a mid-rail if your screen is over 1200mm width or height and will need the extra support of a mid-rail. Select whether you would like the mid-rail to sit vertically or horizontally through the middle of your large fly screen.
Mid-rail Colour Choose from 23 colours
Plunger Pins Optional. These are 4 pins used to hold the screen in place when used in an awning or casement window (Windows that open outwards). Plunger pins are small plastic pins that secure the fly screen against the window frame.
Swivel Clips Used when face fixing a fly screen to a window. Swivel clips are a small plastic clip that ‘pinch’ the fly screen to the aluminium window frame.

Assembly * Flyscreens pre-built by us for a cost of $35 or you can build yourself at no added cost.
