Fly Screen Chain Winder Adaptor

Designed for awning and casement windows with a chain winder operator, this adaptor solves the problem of the chain mechanism sitting in the way of your fly screen. The adaptor's lip slots behind the chain winder and the flat plate screws to the window sill, creating a raised bottom channel for your fly screen to sit in — lifting it clear of the operator so it can open and close freely.

Before installation, you'll need to cut a small section out of the plate to clear the chain. Make two vertical cuts down to the screw line, one at each end of the section, then wiggle the cut piece back and forth until it comes free. File or smooth the edges once removed.


Comes with 2 screws. Available in White (Pearl White) only. You will need a drill, screwdriver or impact driver, and a hacksaw or similar cutting tool to install.
