Mid Rail

Our colour-matched mid-rail adds extra strength and support to your flyscreen, helping reduce flex and keeping larger screens more rigid.

Mid-rails can be installed horizontally or vertically and are supplied to match your chosen flyscreen frame colour.

A mid-rail is recommended for larger flyscreens and is required for screens over 1200 mm x 1200 mm.

Each mid-rail includes 2 mid-rail clips, one for each end, to secure the rail into the flyscreen frame.

Mid-Rail Cut Length

The mid-rail is cut from the finished width or height of your flyscreen, depending on the direction the mid-rail is installed.

11 mm flyscreen frame: subtract 49 mm from the width or height.

9 mm flyscreen frame: subtract 43 mm from the width or height.

For a horizontal mid-rail, calculate the cut length from the screen width.

For a vertical mid-rail, calculate the cut length from the screen height.

Example:
For a 1000 mm wide screen with a horizontal mid-rail:

11 mm frame: 1000 - 49 = 951 mm

9 mm frame: 1000 - 43 = 957 mm
